If you use a surface earthing line or similar, it must be buried at least 1.5 m
deep. This helps reduce the effects of deviations in the earth's conductivity
that occur throughout the year.
3.5.1

CAN

The CAN interface is on the underside of the control cabinet.
To enable communication between the central inverter and other system
components, the manufacturer uses a special CAN protocol. The CAN
interfaces are on the underside of the control cabinet. The CAN interfaces
are responsible for central inverter communications with:

Please note the following here:
 Each CAN bus may be a maximum of 350 m long. The length of the CAN bus
is the total of the CAN cable used.
Each CAN bus requires a terminated start and a terminated end.

Termination is achieved by a terminating resistor (R = 120 Ω). This prevents
signal reflections at the end of the cable. Reflections disrupt the data
signal.
The CAN interfaces of the central inverter are not terminated.

The manufacturer's BPT-M Touch has terminated CAN interfaces.

