Carrying out the measurements

Materials required
The appropriate, tested measuring equipment
Please note the following here:
– Incorrect connections can cause voltages of U
– All measuring devices and cables used must be approved for at least
protection class CAT II 1000 V or CAT III 600 V (in accordance with IEC
EN 61010-1).
Earthing resistance measuring equipment conforming to DIN EN 61557-9
To complete the installation, take the measurements and record the results
and the measuring equipment used. The measurement results must meet
the requirements of the applicable standards, directives and the
requirements of the energy supply company, as well as the device's
technical specifications (Technical specifications, p. 83). Store the
measurement report near the photovoltaic system.
Please note the following here:
Safety devices and safety instructions on the measuring equipment
Safety guidelines for conducting measurements on live systems and
components
Standards for measurements taken from the solar generator (DC) and the
mains voltage (AC) must be met in full
Read the operating manual of the measuring equipment
Procedure
1. Open external disconnectors (DC side, AC side including auxiliary power
supply) and secure them against being switched back on.
2. Ensure that the device is de-energised
Risk of fatal injury due to residual voltages
When the central inverter is shut down using the On/Off switch, voltage is
still present at the AC and DC connections and in the internal control
system. After shutting down the system using the On/Off switch, the
capacitors of the central inverter can still carry a residual charge. Residual
voltages inside the device can result in fatal surges.
Open all external disconnectors and secure them against being switched
back on.
After de-energising the device, always wait for an additional 15 minutes
before touching any components.
Check that the device is de-energised using a measuring instrument, in
accordance with applicable guidelines. The measuring instrument used
must be approved for at least protection class CAT II 1000 V or CAT III
600 V (in accordance with IEC EN 61010-1).
3. Open internal circuit breakers
4. Connect measuring equipment to the test terminal block
5. Cover adjacent, live components
6. Close external disconnectors (DC side, AC side, including auxiliary power
supply)
