Risk of injury due to high temperatures
The components of the device may reach temperatures of up to 150 °C,
which can cause serious burns.
After switching off the device, wait for an appropriate period before

touching any components
 Do not touch hot components
Material damage due to blocked ventilation
If foreign objects are blocking the ventilation channels, this can cause
both material damage and loss of income.
 Keep central inverters, floors and air ducts free of foreign objects.
 Keep air inlets and outlets in the central inverter and the operating area
free of foreign objects.

Maintenance interval

Log all damage determined while performing maintenance work and inform
the manufacturer of what you find. Contact details can be found on the
back of the manual.
Maintenance (recommendation)
Visual inspection
Regular maintenance
Replacement of internal fans
Replacement of power adaptors
Replacement of fuses
Regular maintenance of the central inverter and its components must be
performed at least every two years.
This period may be shortened owing to local conditions. Reasons for
shortening the maintenance intervals are:
High level of stress caused by deposits of dirt or dust, e.g. if installed on

or near farms
 Vibrations, e.g. if the device is installed right next to railway lines or
motorways
High number of nominal load hours e.g. in tracked systems

Constantly high or sharply fluctuating ambient temperatures, for example

in prairie or desert locations
 High humidity (constantly > 80%)
Design ratio AC/DC < 0.8

Proper inspection will uncover faults such as a defective protective earth,
missing sections of shielding, damaged supply cables or parasitic voltages
on the housing.

Replace any defective components and wear parts immediately

The operator is responsible for adapting the maintenance interval to local
conditions.
