Exposing the battery

Requirements
– Park the truck securely, (see "Parking the truck securely" on page 99).
– Load handler lowered.
– Key switch set to OFF.
– Key removed.
– Set the Emergency Disconnect OFF.
Procedure
• Open the battery door (49) as far as the stop.
• Pull the battery connector (50) and let it drop down from the battery.
The battery is now exposed.
