2.4.1 Battery discharge indicator
NOTE
Full discharge can damage the battery
The standard setting for the battery discharge indicator is based on standard
batteries. When using maintenance-free batteries (gel batteries), the display must be
reset.
This adjustment should only be made by the manufacturer's service department.
The battery discharge indicator shows the battery's residual capacity.
Charge battery, (see "Charging the battery" on page 51).
The battery charge status is shown on the truck display via a battery symbol (116).
When a battery is discharged to the permissible discharge level, the battery symbol
(116) is displayed empty.
2.4.2 Battery discharge monitor
If the residual capacity falls below the required level, lifting is inhibited and the travel
speed is reduced. An message appears in the display. Lifting is only released when
the battery connected is at least 40% charged.

In order to complete the lift cycle, the key switch must be turned off and on again.
Lifting is then enabled for 30 to 40 seconds.
