Regeneration time:
Chopped or shredded food returns to its original state relatively quickly; 15 – 30 minutes
is sufficient.
Larger pieces of fruit or vegetables can be soaked overnight in water (in the refrigerator).
If this takes too long, add the dried goods to boiling water, remove the pot from the heat,
and let it stand for about 2-3 hours.
However, whole pieces of fruit should be soaked overnight.
Vegetables are generally soaked before cooking. For example, add 2/3 cup of cold or warm
water to 1 cup of dried vegetables. Never add more water than needed. Vegetables should
not be left to stand for too long before cooking.
Soaked vegetables take about as long to cook as frozen vegetables.
Finely chopped dried vegetables can be added directly to the cooking pot without soaking.
For soup vegetables, sauces or salad dressings, dried vegetables or herbs can be chopped
and mixed to the desired size directly in a food processor.
Grinding dried vegetables is suitable for baby food, cream soups, sauces, etc. However,
please note that grinding reduces the shelf life.
To ensure long-term, trouble-free use of your device, it is necessary to keep it clean. With
normal use, the device will usually only become slightly dirty, but you should still clean it after
each use:
Turn off the device and unplug it.
Remove the motor unit from the lid and wipe it with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
The appliance base, drying racks, and lid can be cleaned under warm running water. A mild
detergent may also be used.
A soft kitchen brush can be used to remove food residue from the drying rack.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents containing gasoline or alcohol. Avoid using abrasive
or scratching cleaning tools to avoid damaging the surface of the device.
The parts are not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
The parts of the device must not be treated with disinfectants or boiled.
After cleaning, allow all parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling them.
Make sure that no liquid enters the ventilation openings of the warm air outlet of the
motor unit.
Never immerse the motor unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
If you do not use the device for an extended period of time, pack it thoroughly cleaned
and dry in the carton and store it in a clean, cool place out of reach of children.
