1. Make sure the brakes are locked (the locked indicator
on the Allen Advance Table display is green).
WARNING:
Failure to remove power from the Allen Advance Table
could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment damage.

Turn the Allen Advance Table off, and unplug it from the
facility's power source.

Unscrew the nut from the
Allen Advance Table
connector.

Remove the nut from pendant
cord, and install the nut on the
new pendant cable. Make
sure the ribbed end of the nut
is toward the connector end of
the pendant cable.
–
Disconnect the pendant cable
from the Allen Advance
Table connector.
Replacement
1. Make sure the O-ring is installed in the Allen Advance Table
connector.
–
Align the tab on the connector end of the new pendant cable
with the tab on the inside of the Allen Advance Table
connector.
–
Connect the pendant cable to the Allen Advance Table
connector.
–
Screw the nut on to the Allen Advance Table connector.
–
Plug the Allen Advance Table in, and turn it on.
–
Make sure all pendant functions operate correctly.
