Instructions for Use

Press and hold the lock control until the Locked
indicator on the display is green.

Try to move the Allen Advance Table to make sure
the brakes are locked. If the brakes did not lock, repeat Step –
and Step –.
ADJUST THE LENGTH OF THE ALLEN ADVANCE
TABLE
1. If there is a support top on the Allen Advance Table, remove the top
(see page 26).

Unlock the brakes.
–
Lift the cross-tube handle to unlock
the cross tube.

With a person at each end of the
Allen Advance Table, adjust the
length as necessary:
Retract—push the columns toward each other.
Extend—pull the columns away from each other.

When the cross tube is fully
extended, lower the handle to lock
the cross tube into position.
NOTE:
To lock the cross tube, it must be fully
extended.
INSTALL A PATIENT SUPPORT TOP
WARNING:
Do not use support tops that are not from Allen Medical with the Allen
Advance Table, including Mizuhosi® tops, rail top or orthopaedic tops.
Otherwise, patient fall, injury, or equipment damage could occur.
WARNING:
Use patient support tops that are designed for the simultaneous use of tilt
and Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg only. Otherwise, patient fall,
injury, or equipment damage could occur.
1. Make sure that the patient support top is designed for simultaneous use
of tilt and Reverse Trendelenburg or Trendelenburg features.
