3. Insert the cross pin into the H-bracket,
through the bowtie, and through the other
end of the H-bracket.
WARNING:
Do not use the H-bracket without the cross
pin installed correctly. Otherwise, patient fall,
injury, or equipment damage could occur.
4. Make sure the drop lock on the end of the cross pin moves to the side to
hold the H-bracket in position.
5. Repeat steps a through 4
on the opposite bowtie.
6. Determine which hole location on the H-bracket to install the support
top.
NOTE:
The hole locations are numbered on the side of the H -brackets.
WARNING:
Failure to use correct lifting methods could cause patient fall, injury, or
equipment damage.
7. With the help of another person, align the ends of the support top with
the pre-determined hole location.
WARNING:
Never remove a cross pin from a support top while a patient is on the
support top. Patient fall or injury could occur.
8. At each end of the
support top, insert a
cross pin into the H-
bracket, through the
top connector
assembly, and through
the other end of the H-
bracket.
WARNING:
Do not use the support top without the cross pins installed correctly through
the H-brackets. Otherwise, patient fall, injury, or equipment damage could
occur.
