After the patient has been
flipped, and the tops are level
(the tilt level indicator on the
display is green), push the
flip handle up to the locked
position. You do not need to
press the red safety lever.
NOTE:
The flip indicator on the display
turns off to show that the support tops
are locked in position. The pendant
indicator on the display turns green
to show that you can use the pendant
controls.

Make sure the support tops are locked in position. If the tops
did not lock, repeat Step –.

Remove the straps from around the support tops.
WARNING:
Failure to use correct lifting methods could cause patient fall, injury, or
equipment damage.

With the help of another person, carefully remove the upper
support top.

Carefully remove the upper H-brackets.
–
Make sure the patient is in the correct position for the surgical
procedure.
TRANSFER A PATIENT
WARNING:
Before you transfer the patient, make sure the brakes on the Allen Advance
Table and the other transfer device are locked and the patient and staff are
fully prepared for the movement. Otherwise, patient fall, injury, or
equipment damage could occur.
1. Make sure of these:
The brakes on the Allen Advance Table and the
other transfer device are locked. (The locked
indicator on the Allen Advance Table display is
green.)
