13. Make sure the drop lock on the end of the cross pin moves to the side to
hold the support top in position.
Remove a Support Top and/or H-bracket
WARNING:
Never remove a cross pin from a support top while a patient is on the
support top. Patient fall or injury could occur.
1. Make sure the patient has been moved from the support top.

Do the applicable steps of the install procedure in reverse
order.
NOTE:
To remove a cross pin, align the drop lock with the pin, and hold the
lock in as you remove the cross pin from the H -bracket.
NOTE:
When the H-brackets and cross pins are
not in use, they can be stored on the
inside of the columns.
INSTALL THE PRONE SUPPORT SET (A-71300) ON
THE RAIL TOP
The Prone Support Set includes one chest support, six hip supports (two
each of small, medium, and large), two thigh supports, one sling, and one
head plate.
Sling
WARNING:
The sling is intended to provide a support for the patient's legs. We
recommend that you use additional pressure reducing material between the
patient's legs and the sling to help prevent patient injury.
