CLEAN AND DISINFECT
We recommend that you clean and disinfect the Allen Advance Table and
the support tops between patient use. Refer to your facility's cleaning and
disinfection policies, and follow the guidelines below.
WARNING:
The potential for electrical shock exists with electrical equipment. Failure to
follow facility protocols may cause death or serious injury.
WARNING:
Failure to unplug the unit from its power source could cause patient fall,
injury, or equipment damage.
WARNING:
Always wear the applicable personal protective equipment when you clean
the unit. Otherwise, injury could occur.
WARNING:
Do not put the unit in an equipment wash room. Otherwise, patient fall,
injury, or equipment damage could occur.
WARNING:
Do not expose the unit or its components to excessive moisture. Failure to
do so can cause patient fall, injury or equipment damage.
Caution:
Do not use harsh cleaners, solvents, or detergents. Equipment damage could
occur.
NOTE:
Do not use iodophors; they will stain the product.
Caution:
If you use a quaternary-type disinfectant, make sure to rinse it off the
product immediately. Otherwise, the disinfectant could cause corrosion on
painted and plated components.
CLEAN
Caution:
Failure to use cleaning and disinfectant products in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions could cause equipment damage.
We recommend that you clean the unit with detergent and warm water. Do
not use excessive liquid or harsh cleansers.
CLEAN DIFFICULT SPOTS
To remove difficult spots or stains, we recommend that you use standard
household cleansers and a soft bristle brush. To loosen heavy, dried -on soil,
you may first need to saturate the spot.
