Manually Installing The PLEXUS Driver
When Windows indicates that the hardware driver has not been installed correctly, please
manually update the driver.
Windows Vista / Windows 7
In Windows, click 'Start' > 'Control Panel' > 'System and Security' (or just 'System') > 'Device
Manager'. Right-click on 'Unknown device' in the section 'Other devices' and choose 'Update Driver
Software...'. Then, navigate to the driver location on your harddisk:
'C:\Program Files (x86)\MADRIX3\madrixusbdriver\plexus\windows'
Windows 8 / Windows 8.1
On the start screen "Start" (Windows Style UI, Tiles), click on "Desktop" to go to the Desktop
(keyboard shortcut: Windows key). Navigate with the mouse to the upper, right corner until
another menu is shown and overlaid (keyboard shortcut: Windows + I). Click on "Settings" >
"Control Panel" (a new window will open). Click on "Hardware and Sound" > "Device
Manager" (another window will open). Right-click on 'Unknown device' in the section 'Other
devices' and choose 'Update Driver Software...'. Then, navigate to the driver location on your
harddisk:
'C:\Program Files (x86)\MADRIX3\madrixusbdriver\plexus\windows'
Important Note
If new drivers and a new firmware are available for the MADRIX PLEXUS, please always
update the firmware first and the drivers second!
