• Carry out the key operations or I/O (BCD, etc.) connections and operations in line with
the explanations given in the appropriate sections. Failure to correctly operate this unit
may result in a malfunction.
• When linking multiple LT100 display units, be sure to turn on the power according to the
following procedure.
Turn on all units at the same time.

Turn on the terminal units and then turn on the host unit.
If the host unit is turned on first, the terminal units must be turned on within 3 seconds, or
the link connection will not be recognized and the terminal units will not operate.
• The LT100 is a display unit designed for DG and DL series measuring probes with mini
DIN type connectors. The LT100 can also be connected to the DT12 via the MT10
detector. The LZ60-P1/P2 counter board (sold separately) is required for connecting a
measuring probe.
• Set the input resolution of the display unit to match the resolution of the measuring
probe. Measuring may not be performed correctly if the resolutions do not match. The
input resolution is set by the initial settings.
(Refer to "5-1. Initial settings" P.18.)
• When the measuring range of the connected probe is 100 mm or more and the display
resolution is set on 0.0005 mm, not all the measuring ranges can be displayed. (The
highest rank figure becomes the "F" display which means an overflow) Therefore, set a
display resolution on or below 0.001 mm.
• Be sure to turn off the power before installing the LZ60-P1/P2 counter board, the LZ60-
B1/B2 BCD board or the LZ60-C RS-232C board.
• Switch settings must be made before installing the LZ60-B1/B2 BCD board or the LZ60-
C RS-232C board. Be sure to thoroughly read the appropriate sections of this manual
and the instruction manual of each board.
