When a BCD board is installed → Go to section 5-1-2.
When an RS-232C board is installed → Go to section 5-1-3.
• When both a BCD board and an RS-232C board are installed, perform the BCD settings first.
Proceeds to the next setting mode from "5-1-1. Basic settings" step 6.
When multiple counter boards are connected, perform the settings for any one of the
counter boards.
1. BCD logic
Setting the BCD output logic.
"+" is positive logic.
"–" is negative logic.
Exception : Logic for the DRQ, READY, SEL, SET and alarm
terminals are fixed.
(Refer to P37 "7. BCD output")
2. BCD output format
Setting the BCD output format.
: BCD is output on receipt of DRQ signal input, and the
resulting status is held.
: BCD is output on receipt of DRQ signal input, and being
set to high-impedance status when there is no DRQ signal
input.
BCD initial settings are now complete.
