Signal
• RS-232C
• EXT.IN
The EXT-IN1, EXT-IN2 and mini-jack inputs all have the same functions; only the input
interface circuits differ. (Refer to P51 "8-6 EXT.IN circuit".) An ON input causes the
measured values to be output via the RS-232C connector. Use EXT-IN1 as a pair with
COM (+), and EXT-IN2 with COM (–), respectively. The EXT-IN1 and EXT-IN2 logic are as
follows.
Pin status EXT-IN1 EXT-IN2
Cut off the connector portion from one end of a CE08 extension cable (sold separately) for
connecting EXT-IN1 and EXT-IN2. The relation between the cable wire colors and the pin
numbers is given in the table above. When using the PZ201 foot switch (sold separately),
connect the cable to the mini-jack. (Refer to P52 "8-7 Output".)
When both a BCD board and an RS-232C board are installed, if the BCD DRQ signal and
the RS-232C EXT.IN signal are input at the same time, the BCD DRQ signal is ignored.
• LINK IN, LINK OUT
These are used to link multiple LT100 display units. Use the LZ61 link cable (sold
separately) for connecting the LT100s. (Refer to P47 "8-4 Link connection".)
