To output measured data via the RS-232C, choose one of the following three methods.
The timing charts shown below are for EXT.IN1 and mini jack input. The high level and low
level logic are reversed for EXT.IN2 input.
1. Input to the EXT.IN terminal 1
Initial setting:
(set at time of shipping)
This mode is for when the PZ201 foot-switch (optional) is used. Data is output A ms
after the EXT.IN signal goes ON.

Initial setting:
Mode for shortening the output interval. (Processed as an interrupt.)
However, there must be no chattering in the input signal. Data is output when the
EXT.IN signal goes ON.

3. Commands
Data is output by input ASCII code commands. For more details, refer to section 8-8.
Note
• After the EXT.IN signal goes ON, the main display is locked to the status just before the
EXT.IN signal went ON until RS-232C data output finishes. In addition, front panel key
operations are also not accepted during this period.
• When the initial setting of counter board I/O connector pins 2!§ is
judgment (I/O connector output, front panel LED) is held while the EXT.IN signal is ON.
However, note that the Go/No Go judgment is held for only unit 1 during link connection.
