3. Insert the LT100 into the cut-out opening in the panel from the front or the rear, then

Be sure to use the supplied screws when attaching the rubber feet and panel mounting
plates to the LT100. Using screws other than those specified may damage the internal
circuits and result in electric shock.
Note
Whether using the LT100 as a stand-alone display unit or mounting it on a panel, do not
block the ventilation holes on the sides of the LT100. Blocking the ventilation holes may
cause the internal temperature to rise and result in malfunction. Position the LT100 so that
the each sides of the LT100 are 5 cm (2.0") or more away from other equipment or walls.

3-3. Connecting the cables

• Be sure to turn off the power of the LT100 before connecting or disconnecting the
connectors.
• Secure all connecting cables so as to prevent accidental disconnection.

The LT100 has separate frame and circuit (signal) GND, but the frame and circuit GND in
the measuring probe to be connected may share the same ground. In this case, do not
apply any voltage other than 0 V to the frame GND as this may damage the LT100 and the
measuring probe.
When applying any voltage other than 0 V to the frame GND, consult us or our Sony
Manufacturing Systems Corporation service representative regarding the measuring
probe GND.
