Drill press is supplied disassembled. Take parts of the drill press out of the package and assemble in the
below described order.
BASE, COLUMN AND WORK TABLE ASSEMBLY
● Insert column (4) into base hole (2) and use hexagonal key to secure it by tightening three bolts on the
rim of conical base ring.
●
Place base ( 2) and column (4) on flat and even surface.
●
Place toothed bar ( 23) in the column clamping ring (14) (with work table (3)) so its longer end (without
teeth) is pointed upwards and gears with toothed wheel in the column clamping ring (14).
●
Slide the whole assembly onto column (
conical base ring (2).
●
Position work table ( 3) in front of the base (2).
●
Slide the ring for toothed bar fixing (
tightening bolt on its outer rim.
●
Attach and tighten bolt with handwheel of column clamping ring block (
●
Attach crank for lifting/lowering work table (
●
Tighten bolts with butterfly head (
extension (20) (fig. A).
HEAD AND EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION
● Use hexagonal key to loosen two bolts in the drill press head body for locking it on the column (4).

Place head (with spindle pointed towards work table) onto column (
●
Place wheel for lifting/lowering the spindle (
●
Place knobs ( 11) on the outer rim of the spindle lowering/lifting wheel (12).
●
Install drill chuck guard (
●
Place and tighten drill chuck guard (
operator).
●
Clean grease off the Morse taper, drill chuck cone (
●
Assemble Morse taper and drill chuck (
●
Lift drill chuck guard ( 19) and slide in Morse taper with drill chuck (5) into spindle sleeve (it might be
necessary to turn Morse taper, so the blade finds its place).
●
Bring down the drill chuck guard (
To assemble drill chuck and Morse taper firmly, it is recommended to press them against each other.
To do that, put wooden piece on the work table and turn wheel to lower/lift the spindle to move
down the spindle sleeve until drill chuck contacts the wooden piece. Apply moderate pressure.
