Work table and base of the drill press feature grooves to attach vice holders or clamps to fix the
processed object. Always fix processed object using screw machine vice or other clamp. This way you
can avoid the risk of unfortunate accident.
CONTROL OF SPINDLE ROTATIONAL SPEED
Remove plug from power supply socket before making any adjustment or replacement of V belts.
Rotational speed of the spindle depends on placement of V belt on conical pulley wheels of the belt
transmission.

Disconnect the drill press from power supply.

Open belt transmission casing (

Loosen bolts for locking tension of V belts (
●
Put V belt on appropriate protrusions of the pulley wheels.
●
Move the motor away from the spindle.
●
Check that tension of the V belts is correct – tighten bolts for locking tension of V belts.

INSTALLATION OF WORKING TOOLS
Disconnect the drill press from power supply.

Insert key into one of the holes on the circumference of the drill chuck (

Open jaws to desired dimension.

Insert cylindrical drill shank into the chuck (

Tighten jaws on drill shank with the key (insert it into three holes on the drill chuck circumference).

Bring down the drill chuck guard (
Remember to always remove the key from the drill chuck after you finish drill installation or removal.
When a new drill is installed, observe against excessive drill wobble after start-up. This may indicate
improper fixing in the drill chuck or deviated drill. If you observe wobbling, switch off the drill press and
check fixing of the drill and its technical condition. Check drill chuck on a regular basis, before each use of
the drill press.
DRILLING DEPTH CONTROL
Use depth gauge when drilling multiple holes with the same depth. Set required value on the drill depth
scale (7) by turning the wheel for adjustment of drill depth (6) (fig. D). After setting required value, you can
lower the spindle to that value only.
SPINDLE SLEEVE MOVE
Manually turn the wheel for lowering/lifting the spindle (12) to move the spindle sleeve . Ensure the spindle
move is smooth and not too fast. Moving the spindle sleeve back to its default position is forced by spindle
return spring (17).

Laser generator that the drill press is equipped with is destined for precise drilling.
