CAUTION: BEFORE USING THE TOOL READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
All warnings within this manual apply to working with the drill press, its maintenance and operation.
User must be familiar with the tool functions and specification, and familiarize with all safety elements,
applicable regulations, must read and understand this manual.

All modifications of the drill press that change its parameters or facilitate operation are forbidden. They
might constitute risk for human health and life.
●
Connect the plug of the power cord only to mains socket with protective pin that is connected to
electrical circuit with residual current protection In < 30mA or In = 30mA.
●
Use drill press only when all protections work properly.
●
Stop the drill press immediately when any of the protective elements is damaged or when protection
does not work properly due to any reason. When a protection is damaged, use the drill press only when
the problem is resolved.
●
Check all protections before starting to work (when the tool is stopped) and after any operation or
maintenance action, or after a repair.
●
Firmly fix processed material on the work table of the drill press.
●
Operating the drill press requires use of personal safety equipment, such as protective helmet, goggles
or anti-splinter glasses or face shield, protective shoes with steel toe caps and earmuff protectors.
●
Do not operate the drill press in gloves. It may lead to serious body injury when the drill catches glove.
●
Ensure the drill press is not a threat to anybody before switching it on.
●
Only certified persons can repair the tool in case of faults.
CAUTION! This device is designed to operate indoors.
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and additional safety systems are used,
nevertheless there is always a small risk of operational injuries.
SAFETY RULES FOR LASER DEVICE
Laser device used in the drill press design is the class 2 with maximum power below 1 mW and wavelength
λ = 650 nm. Such device is not dangerous to your sight, however do not look directly at the source of the
light (temporary blindness hazard).
WARNING. Do not look directly at the source of laser beam. It may cause hazards. Follow the below
safety rules.

Use the laser device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
●
Do not, either intentionally or unintentionally, point the laser beam at people, animals or any object
other than processed material.
●
Do not bring to accidental pointing the laser beam at bystanders' or animals' eyes for a period longer
than 0.25 seconds, for instance by pointing the laser beam at mirrors.
●
Always ensure the laser beam is directed at material which does not have any reflective surfaces.
●
Reflective steel sheet (and other materials with reflective surface) does not allow for laser use, because it
might cause hazardous light reflection directed at operator, bystanders or animals.
●
Do not replace laser unit with device of other type. All repairs must be carried out by the manufacturer
or authorized person.
