Installation of Field Bus Card (Part No. 72700C1)

Corridor databus / audio databus (ZBUS / ABUS)
The devices of the room are connected together over the corridor and audio databus. For this purpose,
2 wires each run from the Field Bus Card to the rooms of the station.
• Corridor databus (ZBUS)
• Audio databus (ABUS)
As of a maximum number of 64 ZBUS devices and/or with the use of spur lines, it is necessary to use a bus
switch / repeater (Part No. 72642C).
Activate the termination of the bus via jumper PL3 if the Field Bus Card is located at the start or end of a bus
segment (see section 2.4).

Connection cable
One twisted pair each is required for the corridor and audio databus.
Use communications cable I-Y (St) Y, n x 2 x 0.8 mm or an equivalent cable type.
