The service menu button serves for system-wide clearing of faults and restarting of the monitoring routines
as well as for navigation in the service menu. Functions such as those for the basic configuration of the
system are found in this menu. The service menu has two sub-menus, which are indicated by the coloured
LEDs.
• Menu A  green
• Menu B  red
The function of the button depends on the current operating status of the SMC and the duration of the button
press:
Button press Time
Short < 3 seconds
3 - 5
Medium
seconds
Long > 5 seconds
• The service menu is closed after 2 minutes without button presses.
• Functions of menu B must be confirmed twice.
