The DIP switch serves for terminating the corridor and audio databus (ZBUS / ABUS). The termination of the
buses must take place at both the start and end of a bus segment.

Field Bus Card POF-POF

When the Field Bus Card (Part No. 72700E1) is inserted into the 2nd installation slot of the SMC, it is
detected automatically and can be used for networking the devices via the zone databus (SBUS). Connection
of the SBU takes place via a polymer optical fibre (POF), with which a line length of max. 50 m can be achieved
(with fibre optic converter Part No. 72661D1 max. 1000 m).
