4. Safety Instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with the operating instructions. We do not
assume any liability for resulting damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety
instructions! In such cases the guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. plain tread tires) are excluded from the guarantee and warrantee, the same is the case for
accidental damages (e.g. broken off transverse link, scratched or destroyed car body etc.).
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the product, but also for your own safety and the safety
of other persons. Therefore read this chapter very carefully before putting the product into operation!
a) General Information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not become wet.
• The model is only designed for use outdoors. The fumes are harmful to health! Never operate the combustion engine indoors, not even for testing purposes.
• Take note of the warnings and the equipment regulations that are specific to the vehicle.
• Only use original replacement parts.
• Taking out private liability insurance is recommended. If you already have such insurance, get some information whether the operation of a model is covered
by your insurance.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around as this may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Should questions arise that are not answered with the help of this operating manual, contact us (contact information see chapter 1) or another expert.
The operation and the handling of remote control model cars must be learned! If you have never steered such a vehicle, drive especially carefully
and get used to the reactions of the car to the remote control commands first. Be patient!

b) Motor and Fuel

• Also pay attention to the running-in regulations for the engine.
• Only use fuel suitable for RC models. For RC cars, a methanol/oil based fuel mixture containing at least 5% to 25% nitromethane and16% oil. Do not use
normal petrol/gasoline! Also never use model plane fuels, these contain too little oil.
• Do not touch the engine or exhaust during operation! Don't touch the drive, do not obstruct it with any objects!
There is a risk of burns and injury!
• Switching off engine: Hold the exhaust closed with a motor stopper (or a rag) to stall the motor. The fuel supply should not be disconnected as otherwise the
engine could overheat. Only when the motor is no longer running may the receiver and then the transmitter be switched off.
• Store fuel in a locked place and out of reach of children! Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin; contact a physician immediately in case of
illness! The individual ingredients of the model fuel, methanol and nitromethane, are poisonous!
Health risk!
• Never spill the fuel. Use a special fuel bottle to fuel the vehicle.
• Test runs and driving may only be carried out in open outdoor areas. Do not inhale the fuel fumes or exhaust fumes.
• Check the tightness of hose connections and tank lid before each use.
• Model fuel is highly flammable. When fuelling the vehicle, do not smoke, no open fires!
There is a risk of explosion or fire!
• Store fuel in well ventilated rooms, away from ignition sources.
• Only transport the model with an empty tank! Empty the tank if you do not want to drive the mode for several days.
• Only use appropriate containers for transporting the fuel.
• The fuel can eat away and damage varnish and rubber parts.
