Dismount the function module only if it is absolutely necessary (e.g. when the controller is replaced).
The pin strip which is used to connect the function module is part of the contact system of the controller.
It has not been designed for repeated connection and disconnection of the function module.
Danger!
The pins of the FIF interface carry dangerous voltage!

The function module can be damaged when being dismounted. Therefore observe the
following:

Dismount the function module only when the controller is disconnected from the
mains.
After disconnection from the mains wait for at least 3 minutes before you start
working on the module.
The screw driver must only be inserted into the hole at the top of the function
module (see figure, next page). The screw driver must not be inserted more than
5 mm.
Never use the screw driver with any other holes of the function module!
