The petrol must be drained in the event of storage
over a longer period of time or for transport.
1. Close the fuel valve (23).
2. Hold a collection bucket under the hose of the
petrol extraction pump (not included in the scope
of delivery).
3. Unscrew and remove the fuel filler cap (16).
4. Remove the fuel filter insert (16a).
5. Push the hose of the petrol extraction pump into
the fuel tank and pump out the petrol completely
using the petrol extraction pump.
6. Reinsert the fuel filter insert (16a).
7. Retighten the fuel filler cap (16).

The clutch play changes with the wear of the clutch.
To enable proper operation, the clutch cable must be
adjusted.
1. Set the clutch lever (19) to the original position us-
ing the adjuster (30).
2. To do this, tighten the counternut (31) with an
open-end spanner AF 10 mm (not included in the
scope of delivery) until the clutch builds up the
correct pressure on the belt (thumb pressure).

If you have difficulty steering the dumper, readjust the
steering levers (3) and (18) with the adjuster (30).
1. Loosen the counternut (31) with an open-ended
spanner AF 14 mm (not included in the scope of
delivery) and unscrew the adjuster (30) slightly.
This removes the slack in the cable that may oc-
cur after first use or due to normal wear and tear.
2. Be careful not to unscrew the adjuster (30) too far,
as this may cause the problem of interruption of
the drive.
3. After adjusting, tighten the counternut (31) again.

The drive chain (28) should be re-greased every 500
operating hours if used frequently. After prolonged
storage, the drive chain (28) should be re-greased
before being used again.
1. To do this, loosen the two fastening screws (top
and bottom) of the maintenance opening (27).
Use an open-end spanner AF 10 mm for this ( not
included in the scope of delivery).
2. Then re-grease the drive chain (28) with a little lu-
bricating grease.
3. Replace the cover and screw in the fastening
screws of the maintenance opening (27).

Remove the belt cover (35) to gain access to the V-belt
(34). Never use the dumper without the belt cover (35).

12.9.1 7HQ V LRQ RIWKH9EHOW) L J
The V-belt (34) must be in good condition to ensure opti-
mum power transmission from the engine to the eccentric
shaft. Therefore, check the condition of the V-belt (34).
1. Switch the engine off and let it cool down.
2. Remove the belt cover (35) to gain access to the
V-belt (34). To do this, use an open-end spanner
AF 13 mm (not included in the scope of delivery)
to loosen the screws and the two nuts incl. wash-
ers from the front belt cover (35).
3. Press the unlocking lever (20) to be able to oper-
ate the clutch lever (19).
4. Use the belt tensioning screw (37) on the Bowden
cable to tighten the V-belt (34) if it gives more than
AF 10-15 mm (press with your thumb!). Adjust the
nuts with an open-end spanner AF 13 mm (not
included in the scope of delivery).
5. Replace the belt cover (35) and tighten the screw
and nuts incl. washers on the belt cover (35) using
an open-end spanner AF 13 mm (not included in
the scope of delivery). While doing so, hold the
nut against the front belt cover (35) with an open-
end spanner AF 13 mm and tighten the screw.

If the V-belt (34) is torn, worn out or smooth, it must
be replaced.
1. Switch the engine off and let it cool down.
2. Remove both belt covers (35) to gain access to the
V-belt (34). To do this, use an open-end spanner
AF13 mm (not included in the scope of delivery) to
loosen the screws and the two stop nuts incl. wash-
ers from the front belt cover (35). On the rear belt
cover (35), also remove the two screws and loosen
the rear screw with an open-end spanner AF13.
3. Loosen the guide hook (36) with an open-ended
spanner AF 16 mm (not included in the scope of
delivery).
4. Pull the worn V-belt (34) off the belt pulley and fit
a new V-belt correctly.
5. Screw the guide hook (36) tight.
6. Use the belt tensioning screw (37) on the Bowden
cable to tighten the V-belt (34) if it gives more than
AF 10-15 mm (press with your thumb!). Adjust the
nuts with an open-end spanner AF 13 mm (not
included in the scope of delivery).
7. Replace the belt covers (35) and tighten the screws
and the stop nuts incl. washers on the two belt cov-
ers (35) using an open-end spanner AF 13 mm (not
included in the scope of delivery). While doing so,
hold the nut against the front belt cover (35) with an
open-end spanner AF 13 mm and tighten the screw.
12.10 & K DQ J LQ J WKHJHDUER[ RLO) L J
The oil must be replaced every 1000 operating hours
whilst the engine is off and in warm condition.
To do this, let the engine run for a short time if nec-
essary.
