Maintenance
Fault description
Dosatron does not start or stops.
Return flow of the concentrate into
the concentrate container.
Concentrate is not sucked in.
Underdosing.
Leak at nut, below the pump body.
Leak between adjustment screw
and blocking ring.
Leaks between pump body and
cover.

Cause
Air in the Dosatron.
Throughput too high.
Piston defective.
Suction valve or suction valve seal is
dirty, worn or not present.
Motor piston blocked
Air inlet on the suction hose.
Suction hose or suction filter clogged.
Suction valve seal worn, incorrectly
installed or dirty.
Suction piston seal incorrectly fitted,
dirty or swollen.
Scratches on the metering body.
Entry of air.
Suction valve seal worn or dirty.
Throughput too high.
Suction piston seal is worn out.
Scratches on the metering body.
Metering cylinder seal worn, in poor
condition or not installed.
Metering body seal worn, in poor
condition or not installed.
Seal damaged, in poor condition or not
installed.

Remedy
Vent.
Reduce throughput, start again.

Check that the seals of the motor

valves are seated correctly.
Return Dosatron to dealer.
Clean or change the suction valve.
Start the engine piston by hand
Check the suction hose and that the nuts
are seated securely.
Clean or replace parts.
Clean or replace seals.
Clean or replace seal.
Replace the metering body.
Check that the nuts of the metering

unit are screwed on securely.
Check the condition of the suction
