Requirements
CAUTION!
Risk of injury caused by chemicals harmful to health
The disinfectant solution manufactured contains chemicals that constitute a
health hazard
– Mark all water lines downstream of the station with a notice reading
'Beware! Not drinking water'.
CAUTION!
Damage to proportional dosing unit caused by unacceptable pressure
build-up
Rapid shutting down of the media outlet can cause pressure impacts that can
damage the proportional dosing unit:
– Do not install non-return fittings in the media outlet downstream of the
proportional dosing unit!
For connection of the station this applies:
The minimum flow rate of the supply line corresponds to the specifications under
n
Ä 'Water connection' on page 76 .
The water pressure in the supply line on the station corresponds to the specifications
n
under
Ä 'Water connection' on page 76 .
Do not subject the station to any pressure impacts.
n
To supply automated systems, downstream of the station install solenoids that open
n
and close slowly.
In systems in which the station supplies several sectors, one sector should close while
another sector opens, using simultaneously controlled valves
If the station is switched off (water supply closed), then downstream of the
station the valves installed should remain in their open position to depressurise
the station completely.
