Intended use

The dosing station Inspexx S is there to produce a ready-to-use disinfectant solution in
the food & beverage industry, which is used to clean and disinfect equipment and auxiliary
items.
Examples of use include:
Disinfection of conveyor belts

Disinfection of crates at the terminal
n
Hook disinfection
n
The disinfectant solution produced is then either poured into a large container that is used
to transport the solution to the place where it will be used, or through a hose or a spray
device directly into the surface to be disinfected.
The following points belong to the intended use:
Use is restricted to commercial applications in an industrial environment; private use is

excluded.
All operating instructions and operating instructions prescribed by Ecolab and all

maintenance and servicing conditions must be complied with.
Only liquid chemicals validated by Ecolab may be processed in the station.

The station may only be operated within the specified operating conditions.

The product concentration must be checked by analysis at least once a shift.

The station can only be used in areas in which any under-dosing of the concentrate

cannot have critical implications.
Protection of the public water supply network must be ensured by the operator onsite
n
in accordance with local requirements, e.g. by connecting suitable safety systems
upstream.
Any other or additional use is regarded as misuse. Ecolab shall not be liable for any
resulting damage to property or personal injury.
2.3

Reasonably foreseeable incorrect use

According to the hazard analysis, the following points can lead to a reasonably
foreseeable misuse:
Use of incorrect design variants (e.g. incorrect sealing or pump head materials)

Use of unsuitable chemicals
n
Use of opaque concentrate containers that do not permit any visual level check
n
Unacceptable ambient temperatures or media temperatures
n
Excessive throughput of product
n
Incorrect dosing lines, line cross-sections too small
n
Non-compatible accessories
n
