Insufficient dosing
WARNING!
Inadequate disinfection in the processing of food products can lead to
serious illnesses!
The station does not have any monitoring of dosing quantities and production
concentrations:
– The use of station must be monitored and documented in accordance
with the stipulations of the quality management system of the operating
company, e.g. in the context of a HACCP concept. In particular, this affects
the monitoring and safeguarding of the product concentration.
– Always use suction hoses between chemicals canisters and station that are
transparent.
– Before switching on, check to ensure that dosing product is visible in the
transparent suction hose.
– At least once on every shift, subject the product concentration to an
analysis.
For application fields in which accurate compliance with the production
concentration is urgently necessary, a separate control and monitoring
device must be rear-mounted!

Mechanical hazards

WARNING!
Staying in the hazardous area
No access for unauthorised persons
Staying in the hazardous area of the station can lead to serious injury for
untrained personnel.
WARNING!
Components and hoses under pressure
Components and hoses under pressure can move in uncontrolled manner and
cause injuries.
To ensure process safety:
– Close the shut-off valves of the pressurised media and, if possible, secure
them with a lock against unauthorised opening.
– Switch the station to a depressurised state.
– Wait until the standstill position is reached.
– Release connections only when depressurised.
– Ensure that no liquids escape unintentionally.
CAUTION!
Components and hoses under pressure
Flow noise in valves and pipes under pressure can impair the perception of
other noises at the workplace. Components and hoses under pressure can fail,
causing components and chemicals from the station to be ejected forcefully:
– station Only operate when safety gates are closed.
