Fluctuating display
- Inappropriate filter?
- Air bubbles in the fluid?
- The electrodes are dirty?
- Are the electrodes passivated?
- Is the conductivity rapidly fluctuating?
Earth connection
- Is the earth connection good (No noise on the earth
line)?
- Are metal pipes connected to the earth?
Flow measurement incorrect
- Correct K-Factor?
- The flow has stopped and the display does not equal
zero?
- Electrodes in contact with the fluid?
- Arrow on the side of the housing indicates flow
direction?
- Cable glands show downstream direction (8045 with
stainless steel sensor)?
- Alignment of electrodes perpendicular to flow direction?
Current output value
- Switch 1 correctly set (Sinking or Sourcing)?
- Connection of the current ok?
Fixed current output value
- Parameters for current output ok?
The relays do not work
- Parameters ok?
