1. Fill and deaerate the infusion giving set in the usual
manner. (Use oniy approved infusion-sets).
Close roller clamp and make connection to the
patient.
2. Place flow detector on drop chamber.
3. Install giving set in accordance with illustrations.
Attention: The reducer adapter must be positioned
exactly.
Close the pump door and open the roller clamp.
4. Turn on Mains switch. (There will be about a
5 second delay while the internal safety Monitor
:
program activates.)

5. Check battery condition. Battery test push button

11. Taking eguipment out of operation
Turn off Mains switch. (If possible keep Mains cable
plugged in, so that the battery is recharged to full
capacity.)
