1. Fill and deaerate the infusion giving set in the usual
manner. (Use oniy approved infusion-sets).
Close roller clamp and make connection to the
patient.
2. Place flow detector on drop chamber.
3. Install giving set in accordance with illustrations.
Attention: The reducer adapter must be positioned
exactly.
Close the pump door and open the roller clamp.
4. Turn on Mains switch. (There will be about a
5 second delay while the internal safety Monitor :
program activates.) i
5. Check battery condition. Battery test push button = "8 ο SZ

The alarm tone can be muted for 2 minutes by pushing \INFUSOMAT secure: | | /

11. Taking eguipment out of operation
Turn off Mains switch. (If possible keep Mains cable
plugged in, so that the battery is recharged to full
capacity.)
Alarm Indicators
A40 = Flow sensor AAA = Flow sensor still on
(i.e.: Bottle empty) + handle cradle or
A50 = Airinthe system ca Equipment defect
