Ultrasonic sensor replacement
1. Remove safety painted screw.
2. Remove sensors © |
3. Remove sensor sealing ©
and membrane
4. Loosen and remove contacts from
plug ST 6
Fix insulation bushing:
Alternately:

38 33 814/9 0,7mm thick
33 18 20119 1,0mm thick

New sensor installation:
Position of membrane (3) and sensor sealing @) . Provide sensors © with
insulation bushings assemble (sensor 1 - With test stamp - on top).
Fasten screws @) with torque wrench to 10Ncm. Fit contacts in plug ST6.
Check sensors according to 2.7.2 "Adjusting and testing the air trap sen-
sors." Should the distance between sensor - pump door not be within the
moving range this can be corrected by exchanging the insulation bushings
(alternaley 0,7 or 1 mm thick).
Lock screws (1) with safety paint.
After assembly of the unit, test the function according to instructions "Testing
the air trap" 2.73.
