Connection sequence for conical connections:
• Cylindrical male adapter
• Seal, female gas adapter
• conical-cylindrical or cylindrical components
• Make the connection in such a way that no pressure is
exerted on the connection nuts and piping or the appliance
is exposed to any other pressure.
Make sure that the pipe cannot become blocked, kinked
or crushed or come into contact with sharp edges or hot
areas, both during and after installation (e.g. due to moving
parts).
After completion of the gas connection
• After completing the gas connection, turn on the gas tap
and check all connection points for leaks as described
below, but never with a flame!
Checking the gas connection for leaks
To check for leaks, apply a soap solution of 50%
liquid soap and 50% water or commercially available
leak detection spray to the connection points of the
gas pipe, for example, after turning on the gas tap
and make sure that the gas outlet openings of the
injector nozzles are closed (press a finger on the
opening, for example).
If bubbles form at one of the points in question,
gas is escaping there.
In this case, immediately turn off the gas supply and
seal the corresponding connection.
• When the connecting parts are disassembled and reassem-
bled, always replace the seals with new ones.
