7.2 Fitting the hob into the worktop

The edges of the unit can be sharp!
Protect yourself from injury during installation,
e.g. by wearing work gloves!
Instructions before mounting and installation
• Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Notes before use"
before fitting the appliance.
• Thoroughly clean the appliance and the area around the fitting
position.
• Have the following ready for the fitting the hob:
• Included appliance parts and accessories:
Hob and components,
screws, mounting brackets
and sealing tape,
these installation instructions
• Measuring tool and spirit level or similar
• Screwdriver
• Protective gloves or similar.
Cutting the worktop
• Cut the worktop according to the dimensions given in
the following drawing and table.
Note:
To avoid mis-cutting the worktop, check that the dimen-
sions given match the dimensions on the product before
cutting out.
