7. Fitting and Installation
7.1 Important notes and installation requirements

This appliance may only be installed/connected and com-
missioned by a suitably qualified specialist in accordance
with the applicable regulations and standards.
This can be very dangerous for unqualified persons and
cause damage.
Room requirements
This appliance is designed for private use in a domestic environ-
ment and can be installed in a kitchen or dining room, for example.
However, please note the following restrictions:
• Do not install it in a room containing a bathtub or shower.
• Note that LPG appliances must not be installed below floor
level, e.g. in a basement.
• Do not install the hob in a 1-room flat smaller than 20 m
Requirements for room ventilation
This appliance does not have an integrated device for collecting /
discharging the combustion products.
It may only be installed and operated in permanently ventilated
rooms in accordance with the applicable local regulations.
Please note the following instructions in this regard:
• The air flow must be directed outside through
permanent openings in the walls of the room to be ventilated
or through a ventilation pipe or system.
The supply of combustion vapours to this system can be done
with an extractor bonnet or an electric fan that activates when
the appliance is switched on.
• The ventilation openings must have an effective cross-section
of at least 100 cm
with protective grids.
