4.3 Application recommendations, guidelines and tips
Caution!Riskofburns!
During operation, flames escape from the cooking zones and
the appliance, as well as accessories and cooking utensils, can
be very hot and cause burns, also some time after operation.
Always keep body parts, clothing and non-heat-resistant ma-
terials, especially flammable materials, at a safe distance from
flames and hot surfaces and protect yourself from burns by
wearing oven gloves, for example.
Always keep children at a safe distance during operation.
Do not pour water onto heated appliance parts or cookware.
The resulting hot steam can cause scalding and the tempera-
ture change can also cause damage.
Caution!Firehazard!
Especially oils, fats, alcohol or food containing them
heat up quickly and can easily self-ignite at very high
temperatures!
Do not leave the food unattended!
General application guidelines
• Follow the instructions in the relevant sections for the
choice and use of cookware and for energy-efficient use.
• Start heating with a high flame and turn it down
when the food starts to boil or is heated.
• If you want to shorten the cooking time,
reduce the amount of liquid or fat if possible.
