Preparation for cleaning
• To facilitate cleaning, remove the pot supports and remova-
ble burner components (see "Properties and configuration
of the appliance") by lifting them up and removing them
from the hob.
• The knobs are pluggable and can also be removed for
cleaning.
• Soak stubborn soiling in hot rinse water before cleaning or
use a suitable commercial non-abrasive special cleaning
agent.
Note for models GK3010E, GK6011E and GK7011E:
Coarse / encrusted soiling on the glass surface can be
removed with a hob scraper.
Hob surface
• If possible, clean the hob when it is still warm to the touch
but no longer hot.
• Clean the hob surface with a soft cloth, some lukewarm
water and a neutral detergent.
• Clean the burner bases carefully with a brush, hot water
and some neutral detergent.
Remove any residues that could obstruct the gas and flame
discharge with particular care.
• Clean the ignition plugs in particular regularly by disassem-
bling them each time, as shown in the illustration, wiping
them with a well-wrung cloth and reassembling them after
cleaning (see illustration).
• Remove cleaning residues thoroughly with clear water and
dry everything well with a soft cloth.
