7.5 Converting the appliance to a different type of gas

If the conversion to another type of gas is not carried
out properly, gas may escape.
The changeover to another type of gas may only be
carried out by a certified gas specialist.
For this purpose, the gas and electricity supply must be
disconnected.
The following instructions are accordingly
addressed to the installer.
Notes:
• The appliance can be operated with natural gas (NG)
or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The corresponding injector nozzles are supplied for
both types of gas.
• From the factory, the appliance is set up for operation
with natural gas.
The rating plate on the underside of the appliance
contains data corresponding to both natural gas and
LPG operation.
Changing the injector nozzles
If the available gas type does not match the current adjust-
ment of the appliance, change the injector nozzles accordingly
(included in the delivery), as follows:
• Remove the pot holders, burner caps and crowns from the
hob.
• Unscrew the injector nozzles with a 7mm socket spanner
and remove them.
• Replace the injector nozzles with the required ones supplied,
according to the gas available and the respective burner
(see following table), screwing them on in the same way.
