Operation, Setting and Use
Burner ignition
• To ignite a burner, hold down the control knob of the selected
cooking zone and turn it counterclockwise to the maximum
level setting / large flame at the same time.
The cooking zone ignites.
• After approx. 3-4 seconds, release the control and turn it to
the appropriate position to set the flame to the desired inten-
sity (for a description of the icons, see the section on control
elements and icons).
Re-ignitionwhentheflamegoesout:
If the flame goes out, turn the control knob to the
off position and always wait 1 minute first, so that any
gas that may have escaped can evaporate from around
the hob.
Then repeat the ignition process, keeping the control
knob pressed for approx. 10 seconds, but no longer
than 15 seconds (For further ignition problems, see the
chapter "Troubleshooting").
