Flame failure safety system
If the flame of a cooking zone that is switched on goes
out, e.g. due to a blast of air or the effect of liquids, the
gas supply to the burner is automatically shut off by the
thermocouple (safety valve).
However, be careful in this case and immediately turn
the corresponding control knob to the off position.
To reignite the hob, proceed as described above.
Finishing the cooking process
• To switch off a cooking zone, first leave your cookware
on the cooking zone and turn the corresponding control knob
clockwise to the off position.
The gas supply is stopped and the flame goes out.
• You can now remove the cookware from the corresponding
cooking zone.

Even some time after cooking, any accessible part
of the appliance may still be hot.
Be careful accordingly.
