Troubleshooting
Problem
When in use, the
flames come over
the bottom edges of
the cookware.
During the ignition
process by oper-
ating one control
knob, sparks are
generated at all
cooking zones
The flame is yellow.
The noise produced
during use is un-
usual.

Possible solution
Check the near vicinity of the hob for
draughts and interrupt the air flow if
necessary.
Check the cooking area, especially the
area between the pot support and the
burner components, for food residues
or other flammable foreign bodies and
clean them if necessary, as described
in the corresponding chapter.
This is normal and does not indicate a
malfunction.
Avoid corresponding risks caused by
sparks.
Check the burner components for
corresponding soiling and clean them,
if necessary, as described in the corre-
sponding chapter.
Check the type of your gas supply and
the corresponding adjustment of your
hob to it.
If necessary, have this corrected by a
gas specialist (see relevant chapter).
