3. Notes before Use
3.1 Unpacking and preparing the appliance
• When unpacking the appliance, make sure that it has not been
damaged during transport.

If you notice any damage to the appliance
or its components, do not connect it!
This can be very dangerous.
Contact the customer service.
• We recommend to note down the 20-digit serial number on the
first page of this manual for possible queries.
• To install the hob, follow all the instructions in the relevant
chapter carefully and have it installed by a suitably qualified
professional.
• Remove any packaging materials, stickers, protective films
and transport protection from the product, dispose of them
properly and store any remaining small parts, e.g. assembly
materials, safely.
Warning!Dangerofsuffocation!
Small parts, foils etc. can be very dangerous if they are
swallowed or pulled over the head, for example!
Always keep them out of reach of children and pets.

Packaging and transport materials not removed from
the appliance may burn or melt when heated!
Make sure that they have been completely removed
before use.
• Before operating the hob, clean it as described in the relevant
chapter.
• Only use the hob when it is in perfect condition and has been
installed correctly.
