Notes before Use
3.2 Choice and use of cookware
C aution!Dangerofburns,fire
andriskofdamage!
Improper use of cookware may result in an unfavourable
influence on the flames of the cooking zones,
as well as a build-up or unfavourable radiation of the
generated heat or spillage of hot food,
causing fire, burns or damage to the appliance,
cookware or nearby surfaces.
Observe the following instructions to avoid this.
• Only use fireproof and heat-resistant
cookware that is suitable for use over
an open flame.
• Always use stable cookware with a
flat base.
• Make sure that it sits stably on the pot
support.
• For even heat distribution, make sure
that the cookware has a thick-walled
base.
• Always use cookware whose base
diameter corresponds as closely
as possible to the size of a single
selected cooking zone (see table
in the following section) to ensure
optimum and controlled expansion of
the flames and their heat, as well as
sufficient stability.
