• Replacing the mains cable and the gas hose, repairs
and maintenance on the appliance are dangerous for
unqualified persons and may only be carried out by a
suitably certified specialist.
For this purpose, the appliance must be disconnect-
ed from the gas and electricity supply.
• Never attempt to make any modifications to the
appliance, its cable or the gas hose yourself
and do not disassemble it.
Danger of explosion and health hazards due to gas
• Ask for the telephone numbers of local gas suppliers
and keep them handy for emergencies.
• Emitted gas poses an explosion hazard and is harm-
ful to health if inhaled.
If you notice a gas smell, do not light a flame, do not
smoke, do not touch any electrical switches, do not
pull any electrical plugs and do not use any tele-
phone sets or other electrical appliances.
Close the gas tap completely and ensure maximum
fresh air supply, e.g. by opening windows.
If you still smell gas, leave the building, notify the
local gas supplier outside the building and, if nec-
essary, warn all occupants of the building without
touching a bell or similar.
Do not enter the building until it has been authorised
by suitably qualified personnel, check the appliance
thoroughly and exercise appropriate caution.
