2.5.3 Digital Scale Interface for High Precision IDNet and SICSpro Weighing Platforms or
AJB579x-d
The digital scale option board of the terminal supplies intrinsic safe power and communication for either high
precision IDNet or SICSpro platforms, or AJB579x-d junction box. It supports the IDNet K..x-T4 scale bases
(with IDNet T-Brick Ex T4 type cell), the SICSPro scale bases (e.g. based on SICSPro MPXI type cell) and
AJB579x-d (ATEX/IECEx approved only). The cable connection is made to J2 connectors on the digital scale
board, as shown in the figure below.

The IDNet or SICSpro platforms are supplied with a discrete length of open-end cable for termination. The table
below shows the wiring color code for the terminal strip.
