2.5.10 Reinstalling Plastic Protective Cover
Before closing the enclosure, reinstall the plastic protective cover using the four M3 bolts (see [Removing
Plastic Protective Cover Page 27]), torque 0.55 Nm.
Insert the edges of the protective cover as into the installation bracket, as shown in the figure below.

2.6 Equipotential Bonding (EB)
Equipotential bonding must be installed by an electrician authorized by the owner. METTLER TOLEDO Service
performs only a monitoring and consulting function for this procedure.
Connect equipotential bonding of all devices (power supply unit, weighing terminal, interface converter and
weighing platform) in accordance with the terminal diagram and all country-specific regulations and
standards.

Installation
WARNING
For safety reasons the protective cover must be reinstalled before closing the
enclosure.
WARNING
According to Connection of EB per Country-Specific Regulations by CENELEC
and Connection of EB per ANSI/ NFPA 70, Article 504, and ANSI/IA RP 12.06.01
or Canadian Electric Code C22.2 by cFMus, it must be ensured that:
1 All device housing are connected to the same potential via the EB terminals.
2 No circulating current flows via the cable shielding for intrinsically safe circuits.
3 The neutral point for equipotential bonding is as close to the weighing system as
possible.
