2.5 Wiring Connections for Internal Options
Options that install internally to the IND500x terminal and require external wiring include the following:
Analog load cell interface
High Precision IDNet interface
SICSpro interface
Discrete 5I/8O
Intrinsically safe current loop interface
Fiber optic interface
Intrinsically safe analog 4-20 mA output
2.5.1 Removing Plastic Protective Cover
After opening the enclosure and prior to install any option board, remove the plastic protective cover first by
unscrewing the four M3 bolts as shown in the figure below.

2.5.2 Analog Load Cell Interface

WARNING
For safety reasons the protective cover must be reinstalled before closing the
enclosure.

WARNING
To avoid damage to the PCB or load cell, remove power from the terminal and
wait at least 30 seconds before connecting or disconnecting any harness.
WARNING
The entity values for the scale base cable must be considered as a safety factor
in the installation.
