9. Mandatory Maintenance and Check-up Operations
These operations are in addition to the Maintenance and Periodic Cleaning Operations as specified in Chapter 7.
The following maintenance and check-up operations sould be carried out by a qualified technician.
N.B. These periodic maintenance operations are not covered by warranty.

Replace diffuser screens

Clean auto-fill probe
▪
Check vacuum breaker for
proper
operation

Inspect water inlet valve
▪
Inspect drain system for leaks
or clogs
▪
Rebuild steam assemblies
▪
Replace portafilter baskets
▪
Inspect group valve plungers
▪
Inspect vacuum breaker
▪
Inspect steam boiler pressurestat
▪
Inspect contactor
▪ Check the condition of the inside of boilers and if necessary rinse out with a proper cleaning product allowed for food and beverage
appliances.

EVERY THREE/FOUR MONTHS

Check flow rate for each group

Check brew temperature

Check/note water hardness
